Used to keep calculating distance, waiting time, fare and route during a metered trip. Users must allow location in system permissions; background location is only used while a trip is running and needed services are maintained.
Used to show the metering state, background location or timing status, important errors and trip reminders, so users don't miss status while the app is in the background.
On Android, the live fare can be shown over navigation or other apps. This permission is only used when the user enables the floating meter.
Used to save or share trip-detail screenshots. Where the platform does not require persistent storage permission, JY Meter uses the system share or media-save flow.
Used for maps, ads, phone verification, sync upload, authorization state, support and error reporting.

JY Meter needs your location in the background as well as while in use, so that when you switch to the map, navigation or turn off the screen, it can still accurately accumulate distance, waiting time and fare and keep saving the route.
